Robert P. Bonnevie, Psy.D.
President

Bob Bonnevie is a licensed psychologist with over twenty years’ experience consulting across a wide variety of industries from technology firms to manufacturing and financial services companies. These organizations run the gamut in size from Fortune 10 corporations to smaller entrepreneurial ventures. In addition to his clinical and career counseling background, Bob’s areas of expertise include management assessment, leadership development, executive coaching and conflict/change management. He is on the Management Division faculty at Babson College where he teaches Organizational Behavior and Leadership. Bob has also been instrumental in the development and delivery of Babson’s unique Coaching for Leadership and Teamwork Program. For six years he was a founding faculty member of the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology’s Executive Coaching Certificate Program where he designed and taught a course entitled “Assessment in Executive Coaching”.

Over the years, Bob has assessed hundreds of executives and managers being considered for selection or promotion/development. He has played an integral role in helping organizations address human resource needs during times of strategic growth and change. His extensive executive coaching experience has spanned the management ranks from work with CEO’s to mid-level managers. As a conflict management expert, Bob has helped individuals and organizations realize the benefits of more effectively managing interpersonal and group conflicts. As a noted authority in the field of workplace violence, he spent several years assisting organizations in taking the necessary steps to reduce the risk of violence. On many occasions, he was called upon to speak on the topic at conferences and in the media.

Prior to founding The Palmer Group, Inc., Bob was Vice President and Director of Consulting Services for Manchester Partners International, an organization specializing in career management and organizational performance consulting. Before that, he worked for Hurst Associates, a human resources consulting group, as Vice President and Manager of Hurst’s Management Assessment and Consultation Division.

Bob holds a doctorate from Hahnemann University (Philadelphia, PA) where he was selected as a member of Who’s Who in American Universities and Colleges. Bob has also received numerous awards in recognition of his leadership, community service and dedication to his profession. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, Massachusetts Psychological Association and Psychologists for Social Responsibility.
